Turn Around

Drive Thru - Season 6

Day 2 of Drive Thru and harsh Western OZ is already wearing on the crew. Andy Irons is finding it hard to get motivated to surf -- especially when there's a 30 minute walk down the beach to the break. Luckily, Donavon steps in for some comic relief, putting his new Billabong wetsuit on backwards. But it's short-lived as laggers Andy and veteran Benji Weatherley are warned by two police officers that a shark has been sited swimming through the lineup. With the others already in the water, the Andy and Benji jump in for a sharky session. The wave was a good left that goofy-footer Occy got to strut his stuff. After a few hours, the crew packed up and headed to a local winery to sample some of Australia's famous wines -- a bonus of traveling with a high profile Australian surfer like Occy. After a great lunch and a walk through the vines, the crew headed down the beach for another session. This time they are met by a pack of local groms who were frothing at the mouth to surf with the legends at their local spot. But Andy Irons wouldn't join in, marking the first divide within the crew...
